Poetry at Round Top Festival Weekend 2010

The 9th annual Poetry at Round Top Festival Weekend is coming up quick! This year’s event takes place April 30 to May 2, 2010, and features such poetic luminaries as two-time U.S. Poet Laureate Ted Kooser, as well as Harryette Mullen, William Wenthe, Peggy Shumaker, Brigit Pegeen Kelly, Naomi Shihab Nye, Hoa Nguyen, Philip Pardi and Jacqueline Kolosov.

The festival includes three days of readings, workshops, conversations on craft and public performances, and takes place on the Festival Hill campus in Round Top, Texas. Located between Austin, Houston and San Antonio, this is a great way for northeast Texans to enjoy poetry in an outdoor setting, get to know writers, and learn more about the craft.
